Why Use Weight-Based Filling?

A weighing filling machine measures the actual weight entering the drum instead of depending only on filling time.

Choose the Filling Method According to the Liquid

One filling method is not suitable for every product.

Top Filling

The nozzle fills from above the drum opening.

This works well for many stable industrial liquids that do not create excessive foam or splashing.

Sub-Surface Filling

The nozzle moves inside the drum so the liquid has a shorter free-fall distance.

This can help reduce foaming and splashing.

Bottom-Up Filling

For more demanding products, the filling lance can move toward the bottom of the drum and rise gradually as the liquid level increases.

This method can be useful for some solvents, coatings, foaming liquids, and volatile products.

The filling method should therefore be selected according to the product rather than simply using the same nozzle movement for every machine.

Chemical-Resistant Filling Configuration
